Quartzite countertops

Kwartsiet is een metamorf gesteente gevormd uit zandsteen, door hitte en hoge druk smolten de kwartsmineralen samen tot een zeer compact en hard gesteente dat zuur-, hitte- en krasbestendige is. Zo  leent kwartsiet zich uitstekend voor allerlei binnen en buiten toepassingen. Omwille van zijn mooie marmerlooks en onderhoudsvriendelijkheid is het een zeer geliefd en duurzaam materiaal voor keukenwerbladen.

FIRST TREATMENT

Worktops in quartzite should be protected preventively with an impregnating product. Use a product with oleophobic properties so that the stone is optimally protected against soiling, especially the penetration of oils and greases.

Suitable products are Akemi Anti Stain Pearl Impregnator (colourless) or Akemi Colour Diluter Transformer Max (colour diluting).

MAINTENANCE

As a daily maintenance cleaner, we recommend Akemi Crystal Clean Spray. This product cleans and degreases, dries quickly and is veil-free. Safe for all materials.

CLEAN 

To remove grease films, maintenance layers and absorbed food residues, we recommend Akemi Natural Stone Basic Cleaner Spray. Use this powerful cleaner only if your daily maintenance cleaner is not sufficient.

Also use this spray to thoroughly clean the worktop before an impregnation aftertreatment.
