2-component glues
2-component adhesives (2K) consist of two components; a good adhesive base and an ultra strong hardener. The base can be polyester, epoxy acrylate, epoxy or polyurethane (PU). The reason why these adhesives are packaged in two separate compartments is because the reaction (curing of the adhesive) takes place when both components are mixed together. The advantage of 2-component adhesive is a nice and complete curing because no air (humidity) is needed for curing.
